# Looptake > Describe a video. Get one built to go viral. Viral short-form video from one sentence. Looptake: describe the video you want in one sentence and get a short-form video built to go viral on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts. Inputs: a prompt, a website URL (brand-aware videos), a viral video link to remix, a long video to clip into shorts, or a CSV for bulk. Pipeline: hook and script, viral format, visuals (AI clips and images, stock, AI avatars), voiceover, word-timed animated captions, music, 9:16 render, viral score, scene editor, then scheduling and auto-posting. Analytics and trends feed the next batch. Teams and agencies get client workspaces, brand kits, roles, approvals with client review links, white-label reports, seats and an audit log. ## Developers and agents - REST API: https://looptake.com/api/v1. Header `Authorization: Bearer lt_live_...` (or `X-API-Key`). Test keys start lt_test_ and never post. - CLI: `npx looptake` (binary `looptake`), with --json, --wait and stable exit codes. - MCP, hosted: Streamable HTTP at https://looptake.com/mcp with `Authorization: Bearer `. - MCP, local: `npx -y @looptake/mcp` over stdio with LOOPTAKE_API_KEY in the environment. - OpenAPI 3.1: https://looptake.com/openapi/v1.json. - All of it is on every plan. Generating ideas, scheduling and posting cost no credits; credits pay for AI media. Whole API in one file: [llms-full.txt](https://looptake.com/llms-full.txt). Setup: [MCP](https://looptake.com/developers/docs/mcp), [CLI](https://looptake.com/developers/docs/cli), [for agents](https://looptake.com/agents). ## API essentials Every response uses one envelope. `pagination` appears only on lists. ```json { "success": true, "data": {}, "pagination": { "total": 120, "page": 1, "limit": 20, "pages": 6 } } ``` ```json { "success": false, "error": { "type": "forbidden_scope", "message": "This key does not carry posts:write." } } ``` Branch on `error.type`, never on `error.message`. - Errors: invalid_input (400), unauthorized (401), forbidden_scope (403), not_found (404), conflict (409), insufficient_credits (402), usage_limit_reached (429), rate_limited (429), internal_error (500). - Rate limits per key: generations 10 per 300 s, posts 60 per 300 s, content studio 30 per 300 s, everything else 600 per 300 s. - Async work returns 202 with a statusUrl to poll. - Send Idempotency-Key on every POST that publishes or spends credits. 87 endpoints in 15 groups: - **Identity** (1): What this key can do, which team it belongs to, and how many credits that team has left. - **Credits** (1): The balance and every movement in it, including the automatic refunds for failed generations. - **Workspaces** (10): A workspace is a brand. Everything with content in it is workspace-scoped. - **Social accounts** (1): The TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts connected over OAuth, and whether their tokens are still good. - **Generations** (10): Suggestions: a caption, a post body, hashtags, a rationale and a deck. Accepting one turns it into content. - **Posts and calendar** (12): Scheduling and publishing, with one result row per platform account and the analytics that came back. - **Automations** (11): A cadence that fills a calendar. Draft, generate, review, launch, and the posts it produced. - **Influencers** (9): AI presenters you create once and reuse, and the talking-head videos rendered from them. - **Assets** (4): The workspace library: clips, images, audio and fonts a deck can draw on. - **Content** (2): Render status and the finished media for an accepted suggestion or a studio job. - **Content studio** (14): The content studio renders, one endpoint per named render. All accept a job and return 202; none blocks. - **Analytics** (5): Performance by window and by post, from the platforms’ own reporting APIs. - **Trends** (1): The daily trend library: sounds, formats, topics and hashtags, per platform. - **Webhooks** (4): Four events pushed to a URL you own, so nothing has to poll a schedule that runs for a month. - **Brand context** (2): Re-read the website and rebuild the brand context every generation is written from. ## Plans - **Creator**: $29/month, or $24/month billed yearly (17% off). 300 credits/month, 1 seat, 3 workspaces. - **Pro**: $79/month, or $66/month billed yearly (16% off). 1,000 credits/month, 3 seats, 10 workspaces. - **Agency**: $199/month, or $166/month billed yearly (16% off). 3,000 credits/month, 10 seats, unlimited workspaces.
