Privacy notice
What is processed, why, who else touches it, how long it is kept, and how to get a copy or have it deleted.
The rules for using Looptake, the AI short-form video generator. You own what it makes. You are the publisher of what it posts.
Seven things to know. The clauses below are the agreement.
These terms are the agreement between you and Looptake for use of https://looptake.com, the Looptake application, client review pages, the REST API, the command line tool (CLI) and the MCP server. They apply from the moment an account is created and for as long as it exists.
A team is the billing entity. It holds the plan, the seats, the credit balance and the invoices, and the person who created it is its owner. A workspace is one brand or one client inside a team. Anyone the team invites, as admin, editor or client, acts for the team, and the team is responsible for what they do with it, including what they publish and what they spend.
“You” means the person accepting these terms and the team they accept them for. If you are accepting for a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 16 years old. This is a business tool and it is not offered to children.
Looptake is an AI short-form video generator. From a prompt, a website, a link to a video, a long video or a CSV, it writes hooks and scripts, builds visuals with AI clips, images, stock footage and AI avatars, adds voiceover, captions and music, renders the video, schedules it, posts it to the social accounts you connect, and reads the results back into the next batch. Teams and agencies can run client workspaces with brand kits, approvals, client review links and white-label pages and reports.
Every part of that runs on your instruction. A generation happens because you, an automation you launched, or your own code through the API, CLI or MCP asked for one. A post publishes because you scheduled it. Nothing is created or published on a judgement of ours about what your brand should say.
The product changes. Formats, models and providers are replaced as better ones appear, and an individual format can be retired. We will not remove something material that your plan was sold on without telling you at least 30 days ahead.
You keep everything you bring: your prompts, your website, your uploads, your scripts, your logos, your brand kits and your published posts. None of it becomes ours by being processed here.
You own the output. Video, scripts, images, voice-over and captions generated for you are yours to use, including commercially, including in paid advertising, and including after your account closes. We charge for the work of generating them, not for permission to use them.
To run the service we need a limited licence to your content: to store it, process it, render it, transmit it and publish it to the accounts you connect, together with the right to keep the copies described in the privacy notice. That licence is non-exclusive, exists only to operate the service for you, and ends when you delete the content or close the account, apart from copies inside encrypted backups until those rotate out.
We do not use your content, your uploads or your brand context to train models, and our model providers are contracted not to train on them either.
Generated output is not unique. The same format and a similar brand can produce a similar result for somebody else, and neither we nor any model provider can promise otherwise. Nothing here grants you a trademark or an exclusive right in what a model produced.
You are responsible for holding the rights to everything you upload, including footage, music, product imagery, logos, and any person’s face or voice. If you do not hold them, do not upload it.
AI avatars and influencers are licensed for commercial use in content you make with the service. You may not resell one, extract one for use elsewhere, or present one as a real person.
The platforms hold you responsible for what appears on your account, and so do we. You must not use the service to create or publish:
You must also not resell raw model access, present the output as another vendor’s product, work around credit accounting or rate limits, or share an API key outside your team.
Security research is welcome inside limits: test only accounts and workspaces you own, do not touch anyone else’s data, do not run denial-of-service or load tests against the API, and give us a reasonable chance to fix what you find before you publish it. Report it to security@looptake.com, which is also the address in /.well-known/security.txt. Research inside those limits is not a breach of these terms and we will not bring a claim over it.
Where a platform or the law requires content to be disclosed as AI-generated, making that disclosure is your job. The product can add a label or a watermark to a video, and it cannot know what your jurisdiction requires of you.
If you are not sure whether something is allowed, ask before you publish it. We would rather answer the question than suspend the account.
If you run the service for clients, you confirm you have their authority to publish for them and to use their brand material. White-label pages and reports carry your brand, and you are responsible for what they say to your clients.
You are the publisher. A post that appears on your account is your post, whether you scheduled it by hand, accepted a suggestion, or launched an automation that filled a month of slots. Review a batch before you launch it and use the draft mode if you would rather press the button yourself.
Accounts are connected over OAuth on the platform’s own screen. You can disconnect one at any time here, or revoke access from the platform. Either stops future posts to that account. Neither removes posts already published, because those belong to your account on that platform.
Your relationship with each platform is yours and their terms apply to you directly. They may remove content, restrict a feature or suspend an account, and we cannot appeal on your behalf or restore anything they take down.
A schedule is an instruction. Cancel a scheduled post before it starts publishing; once publishing has begun the platform holds the copy and we cannot recall it.
Publishing can fail for reasons outside our control: an expired token, a platform outage, a rejected caption, a rate limit. We report which account failed and why, and you can retry without regenerating the video. We do not credit or compensate for a post a platform declined.

Plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, through our payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then current for your plan, until you cancel it.
Prices exclude tax unless we state otherwise. Where we are required to charge VAT or a sales tax we add it at the rate that applies to you, using the billing details you enter.
We may change prices. An increase applies from your next renewal and we will tell the team owner at least 30 days before it takes effect, so there is time to cancel first.
If a payment fails we retry it and tell you. Continued non-payment suspends the team’s workspaces before anything is deleted, and we will always say so first.
Credits buy AI media and nothing else. Hooks and scripts, text and slideshow formats, editing, scheduling, posting and analytics never cost credits.
Each plan grants credits at the start of every billing period. A grant is for that period: whatever is left of it expires when the next grant lands, and granted credits do not roll over or accumulate.
Credits bought as a top-up sit outside the monthly grant. They do not expire, and they are spent only after the period’s granted credits are used up.
A generation that fails is refunded automatically, at the amount charged, by the worker that detected the failure. You do not open a ticket to get credits back, and every movement is visible in the ledger.
Credits are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred between teams, sold or exchanged, and are not refundable except as part of a refund of the period they were granted for.
See: What a credit buys
You can cancel at any time from the billing screen, without talking to anyone. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, scheduled posts continue to publish until then, and your library stays available.
A period you have paid for and decide not to use is not refunded pro rata. Two things override that. Where local consumer law gives you a right of withdrawal or a statutory refund, that right stands and we will honour it. Where a fault on our side made the service unusable for a material part of a period, write to us and we will refund that period.
A refund of a period also reverses the unspent credits granted for it.
Cancelling and closing are different. Cancelling stops billing and leaves the account in place. Closing removes you: your address is released, your password hash, name, avatar and two-factor secret are cleared, and your sessions stop working. It does not remove the team or what the team holds, because a team outlives any one of its members. The privacy notice sets out what closing removes and what has to be asked for, so export anything you want to keep first.
We can suspend a connected account, a workspace or a team where payment fails and stays unpaid, where a credible report or our own review finds content that breaks the acceptable use section, where a platform requires it, where there is a security incident involving the account, or where continuing would put us in breach of the law.
Suspension is the narrowest one that fixes the problem: a single connected account before a workspace, a workspace before a team. We tell you what happened, what triggered it and what you can do about it, unless the law prevents us.
You can appeal by replying to that notice and a person will read it. A platform’s decision about its own service is not something we can reverse, whatever the outcome of the appeal.
We may end this agreement on notice if you breach it materially and do not put it right, and immediately for a serious or repeated breach of the acceptable use section. You may end it at any time by cancelling and closing the account.
Termination does not extend any retention period. Generated media is kept until you delete it or ask us to remove it and nothing expires on a timer; everything else is deleted on the schedule in the privacy notice.
We do not publish an uptime commitment on these plans. Where one exists it is in a separate written agreement, and nothing on the marketing site creates one.
We carry out maintenance. Anything we expect to be disruptive is scheduled away from the posting windows we can see, and a post that misses its slot because of us is reported rather than dropped silently.
We may change, add or retire features. Where a change removes something material that your plan was sold on, we tell the team owner at least 30 days ahead and you may cancel for a refund of the unused part of a prepaid period.
The service runs on infrastructure and models operated by other companies: object storage, a language model provider, a media generation provider, a payment processor, an email provider, and the three social platforms you publish to. They are listed by role in the privacy notice, together with what each one handles.
A platform API can change or close, and one has to be able to. If that happens, the part of the product that depends on it changes with it and we will tell you what it means for your plan.
Links from this site to a third party are not an endorsement, and their terms are between you and them.

The service is provided as it is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not promise that generated content will perform, that it will be accurate, that it will be unlike anyone else’s, or that a post will reach an audience. Views, followers and revenue depend on platforms and audiences that nobody in this agreement controls.
A brand context or script is produced by an automated system from your prompt or the pages of your website. It can be wrong, out of date, or miss something that matters. It is a draft for you to correct before you publish from it, not a statement of fact about your business.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost views, lost followers or reputational harm, even where the possibility was known.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
We are not liable for a decision by a platform about your account or your content, for what you choose to publish, or for content generated on your instruction.
These limits apply however a claim arises, in contract, in tort, under statute or otherwise, and they survive termination of this agreement.
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from content you upload or publish through the service, from a breach by you of the acceptable use section, from your use of a person’s name, face or voice, and from your breach of a platform’s terms.
We will tell you about such a claim promptly, let you conduct the defence of it, and not settle it without your agreement.
Talk to us first. Most disputes are a support conversation, and support@looptake.com reaches a person.
These terms are governed by the law stated in your order form. Where no order form states one, they are governed by the law of the place in which we are established, whose courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, none of that removes the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, or your right to bring proceedings there.
If a clause is held unenforceable, the rest of the agreement stands. A right we do not enforce straight away is not a right we have given up. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent, and we may transfer it to a company that takes over the business, on notice to you.
These terms, the privacy notice and any order form are the whole agreement between us about the service, and they replace anything said before.
This page is the current agreement. The date at the top of it is the date it last changed, and there is no other version in force.
We can change these terms. A material change, meaning one that affects your rights, your content, your money or what you may publish, is announced at least 30 days before it takes effect, by email to the team owner and on this page. A clarification or a corrected reference takes effect when it is published.
If you do not accept a material change, cancel before it takes effect. Where you had prepaid for a period that has not finished, we refund the unused part of it.
Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
