A failed render is refunded automatically. Top-up credits never expire.
Ledger
Credits belong to the team. GET /credits returns the balance and an append-only ledger, newest first. Spends are negative; grants and refunds are positive, and a refund names the job it reverses. GET /me also shows the balance.
Each row's type is one of recurring, topup,spending, trial, spin, reward, refund,carryover or carry_expired. A refund's refId names the job it reverses.

Three limits
insufficient_credits(402): The team does not have enough credits for the media this call would generate. Top up, or use a Turbo format, which costs nothing. Nothing is charged and nothing is queued.usage_limit_reached(429): A plan quota is exhausted: saved posts, automations, content pieces, connected accounts or workspaces. Wait for the period to roll over or move to a plan with a higher limit. Retrying sooner returns the same error.rate_limited(429): Too many requests in the sliding window for this endpoint group. Wait for the number of seconds in Retry-After, then retry. X-RateLimit-Reset carries the same moment as a timestamp.
